Mbappe, Rudigier and Endrick fire Real Madrid past Stuggart

Real Madrid began their UEFA Champions League title defense with a 3-1 victory over VfB Stuttgart at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Despite a challenging start, the reigning champions turned the game around with a dominant second-half display.

Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring just after halftime, marking his first Champions League goal for Real Madrid. Stuttgart responded with a 68th-minute equalizer from Deniz Undav, but the German side couldn’t hold off Madrid’s relentless pressure.

Antonio Rudiger restored Madrid’s lead with a powerful header against his former club in the 83rd minute, and young Brazilian talent Endrick sealed the win with a goal in the dying moments, making his UCL debut memorable.

Stuttgart put up a strong fight, but Real Madrid’s superior quality ultimately shone through, with key contributions from Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Luka Modric guiding them to victory.
