Meet Kevin Maussi Martins; Obafemi Martins’ son
Kevin Maussi Martins became the talking point globally in 2018 when he scored a wonder goal in the colours of AC Milan.
Since then he has moved on to Inter Milan, the club his father made history, scoring 49 goals in 136 appearances in all competitions for the Nerazzurri, and claiming a Serie A title.
Now 15, Kevin Maussi Martins has scored a goal in three calls for Italy’s U-15 National Team.
He has also been turning heads in Inter Milan’s colour, following in the footsteps of his father, Obafemi Martins.
Earlier reports wrongly suggested Kevin was the son of Abigail Barwuah, Mario Balotelli’s sister, but SportsRation can confirm this is not the case. His mother is said to be of Togolese origin, not connected to the Barwuah family.
The big question now: How far can Kevin Maussi Martins go? With talent, pedigree, and the platform of Inter Milan, expectations are already rising that he could one day carry the Martins name back to the very top of world football.
