MFM FC Will See Off Plateau Utd Says Joshua Akpudje

Mountian of Fire and Miracle Ministry Football Club, MFM FC defender, Joshua Akpudje has assured of a successful outing for the Agege based team when they face Plateau United in a Matchday 17 NPFL clash on Sunday at the Agege Township Stadium, Lagos.

MFM FC who are seated eighth on the NPFL log face table toppers, Plateau United with a win taking them just 3pts adrift of the Abdul Maikaba led side.

In an interview ahead of the game, MFM FC defensive stalwart, Joshua Akpudje says he is convinced of his side chances.

“Playing against the table toppers means a lot of expectation from us, like questions on if we can get something off them”, Joshua said
“My team are good to go, the last game has passed and this is a new game with all eyes on us”

“I believe we can do a special outing. I have been preparing for this game so as to make my team and fans happy. I’ll ensure I give my best to the team.

When asked on the team’s preparedness, the 21 year old opined: “We’ve been training hard since on Monday with the coach instilling the needed tactics in us. We know they’re a strong team but we’ll come out victorious” Akpudje concluded.

Joshua Akpudje helped MFM FC get past Jigawa GS, 2-1 in match day 15 of the league setting a new record by becoming the first player to score an own goal and a goal in the same match since Ifeanyi Anaemena did for Enyimba FC in February 2018 (vs Sunshine Stars).

The game at the Agege Township Stadium is scheduled for 4pm on Sunday.
