The team is now back in Uyo as they prepare for their next match against Zimbabwe. The game will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, by 5 p.m.

Mfon Udoh, who still holds the record for the highest number of goals scored in a single season of the Nigerian Premier Football League, shared his thoughts in an exclusive chat with SportsRation. Udoh, who is also from Akwa Ibom State, expressed excitement over the team’s performance and predicted another exciting win for Nigeria.

“I was privileged to watch the highlights of our last game in Rwanda,” Mfon Udoh said. “It was a fantastic game and the Super Eagles did really good. I commend their effort.

“Our next game is even going to be better and the scoreline also should be mouth-watering. So my prediction is 3-1 in favour of the Eagles.”

Mfon Udoh was the top scorer in the 2016 CAF Champions League with nine goals and remains one of Nigeria’s most prolific strikers in history.
