Middleton leads Bucks to first NBA Finals since 1974

Bucks defeat Atlanta Hawks 4-2 in Conference semifinals to secure Eastern Conference title

Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Atlanta Hawks 118-107 to end their Eastern Conference final series with a 4-2 victory over the Hawks and secure passage into the NBA Finals, where they will face the Phoenix Suns.

With Giannis Antetokoumpo missing the game after suffering an hyperextended knee injury in Game 4, the Bucks relied heavily on Khris Middleton, and the guard did not disappoint. Middleton contributed 32 points with 4 rebounds and 7 assists, and Jrue Holiday finished the game with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the Bucks. Atlanta Hawks tried, but were unable to force a seventh game in the series as the Milwaukee Bucks sealed the victory in Game 6 to emerge as the Eastern Conference champions.

Milwaukee Bucks will now face the Western Conference champions, Phoenix Suns in the NBA Finals for the 2020/21 NBA championship from July 7th after reaching the finals for the first time since 1974.
