Mihajlović waxes lyrical about Osimhen ahead of Napoli-Bologna clash

He has proved he is worth every penny that Napoli paid for him

Siniša Mihajlović is full of praise for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen ahead of his Bologna clash with Napoli this evening.

The great Siniša Mihajlović now a coach enjoyed a successful footballing career finishing as one of the top free kick taker in the world football.

As a defender and occasionally a midfielder during his playing days Siniša Mihajlović definitely should know a good striker when he sees one.

And the Bologna manager is certain Victor Osimhen is a quality striker who has proved to be worth every penny paid to sign him by Napoli.

“He seems like he has an engine. He’s ‘ignorant’, but in the good sense of the word. He runs, opens the game, restarts, scores.

“He’s really strong, but I didn’t expect this much. It’s also true that they paid €70m for him,” says Mihajlović ahead of the seria A clash.

The former Milan manager also said the Nigerian is better than Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku in one aspect of their game.

“He shifts the balance even more than Lukaku,” Mihajlovic said in a press conference, per Football Italia. “What do they eat in Naples?”

Tonight, Victor Osimhen and his Napoli teammates would be hoping for a victory at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona so they can regain the top spot in the Serie A.
