Mikel Obi predicts where Chelsea will finish in the Premier League this season

I don’t think he’s faced this kind of situation before, and that’s where he’ll be truly tested.”
Mikel Obi also criticized Chelsea’s recent transfer decisions, particularly the sale of young talents Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah. Speaking on The Obi One podcast, he labeled the moves as “a big mistake,” saying, “Two young boys that bleed blue, through and through. They’ve been at the club since they were little boys, and now we’re selling them just to balance the books.”
He expressed frustration with the club’s spending, stating, “The owners have spent way too much money, buying anyone with a price tag. Now, we’re losing two of the best young players we have.” Mikel Obi emphasized the importance of Gallagher and Chalobah, noting their strong connection to Chelsea and their potential contributions. “For me, the best player last season, apart from Cole Palmer, was Conor Gallagher. He should still be at the club. And Chalobah, too, especially after his injury recovery.”
Mikel Obi concluded with a strong statement on Chelsea’s transfer strategy, saying, “It’s just bad business from the owners.
