Monstrous Ndidi performance gives Leicester City win at Old Trafford over Manchester United
Manchester City confirmed as EPL champions for third time in four yeard
Wilfred Ndidi delivered a man of the match performance for Leicester City as they won 2-1 away from home against Manchester United in the Premier League and bounce back from defeat at the hands of Newcastle at the weekend.
Teenage fullback, Luke Thomas opened the scoring for Leicester City in the 10th minute against a weakened Manchester United side to which manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made 10 changes from their weekend defeat of Aston Villa. Two of Manchester United’s teen sensations combined as 18 year old Amad Diallo set up 19 year old Mason Greenwood to draw the home side level just 5 minutes later. Turkish center half, Caglar Soyuncu had the final say however, with his 66th minute effort deciding the tie for the Foxes. It was however Nigeria’s midfield destroyer, Wilfred Ndidi who picked up the accolades for his display in the middle of the park for Leicester City. The midfielder won the most tackles and duels, made the most interceptions and also made the most recoveries in the game for the Foxes as he laid the foundation for a huge win for their Champions League aspirations.

The result at Old Trafford sealed the return of the English Premier League title to the Etihad Stadium as Manchester City are now mathematically beyond the reach of their nearest rivals, Manchester United, confirming them as Premier League champions for the third time in the past four seasons.
