More than football: Kylian Mbappé grants final wish to sick boy
Kylian Mbappé has won the hearts of many after fulfilling the final wish of a young boy named Lorenzo, who is battling a terminal illness.
Lorenzo, a French child diagnosed with a brain tumour, had one final dream: to meet his hero, Kylian Mbappé. According to Spanish news source Marca, Lorenzo’s wish was shared in a heartfelt video, which quickly spread across social media.
Once Mbappé learned about Lorenzo’s condition, he acted quickly to make the boy’s dream come true. The Paris Saint-Germain player contacted Lorenzo’s family and arranged for them to attend a Real Madrid match against Las Palmas last weekend.
When Lorenzo arrived at the stadium, he was warmly greeted by Mbappé, who said, “You finally came.”
But the kindness didn’t stop there. The whole Real Madrid team joined in, meeting Lorenzo, signing a special shirt for him, taking photos, and ensuring the day was unforgettable.
Reflecting on the emotional meeting, Mbappé said, “He’s a different boy. In life, there are more important things than football, and I want to thank the club for allowing me to bring him to the game and meet all the players. It was an incredible moment for him, and I’m very happy about that.”
