Morocco Win U17 AFCON After Penalty Shootout Victory Over Mali

Morocco’s U17 national team won the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) title today after beating Mali 4-2 on penalties, following a 0-0 draw in normal time.
The final was a close contest, with both teams finding it hard to create clear chances during the 90 minutes.
In the second half, the young Moroccan side, known as the Atlas Cubs, tried to increase the pressure and find a winning goal. However, they could not finish their chances.
With the match ending goalless, it was decided by a penalty shootout. Morocco stayed calm, and their goalkeeper, Chouaib Belaarouch, became the star of the day by saving two penalty kicks.
This win gave Morocco their first-ever U17 AFCON title, marking a proud moment in the country’s football history.
