Motsepe’s CAF warns against use of laser ahead of Morocco v South Africa WAFCON final
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) led by South Africa’s Patrice Motsepe has warned the hosts against the use of laser light ahead of the WAFCCON final.
There will be a new winner tonight when hosts, Morocco, and CAF president Patrice Motsepe South Africa meet tonight at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
The semifinal game between Nigeria and Morocco was marred by various incidents ranging from VAR decisions to and use of laser lights.
Super Falcons had the light shone on them on different occasions, especially during the penalty shootout and this may have helped the hosts.
The other semifinal involving Zambia and South Africa was not without its controversy which was not addressed but CAF has come hard on Morocco over the use of laser light.
According to reports doing round, (CAF) has issued a stern warning to Morocco not to use laser light in tonight’s WAFCON Final against South Africa.
The question on football lovers and Nigerians would be why now?
The final will be played tonight at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat by 9 pm Nigerian time.
