Former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho has been announced as the next manager of Italian top-flight side, AS Roma following the decision of current manager, Paulo Fonseca to leave the helm of affairs at the Stadio Olimpico at the end of this season.
Mourinho, who was relieved of his duties by Tottenham Hotspur barely two weeks ago and appointed as a TV pundit as The Sun is set to be reunited with former Manchester United players Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Chris Smalling in the Italian capital. AS Roma will be looking at the Special One to possibly end their trophy drought. Fonseca, who led the club to the semifinals of the UEFA Europa League this season is now set to step aside from the role at the end of the season.
