Mourinho to sell Fellaini to fund deal for Brazilian star
Manchester United have reportedly agreed a £8 million deal to sell Marouane Fellaini in January transfer window to raise fun to sign Brazilian star Fred. Fellaini current contract at Old Trafford will expire end of the season, and reports claimed last month that the former Everton midfielder rejected the club’s offer of a new deal.
According to Metro now claims that Manchester United have reached an agreement with Turkish outfit Besiktas to sell the Belgium international early next year.
Manchester United have informed Jose Mourinho that he needs to offload players before he can bring in new faces and Red Devil look ready to cash on 29-years -old Fellaini with six months remaining on his deal.
Mourinho is now looking for replacements for Fellaini with Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred on his radar. But Manchester United will battle many top European clubs for the 24-year-old Brazilian and Red Devil will have to pay a high price to beat out other competitors who contract expires in 2021.
Fellaini at Manchester United since David Moyes spent £27.5m to sign him from Everton four years ago.
