Muruguza, Ostapenko honored at the WTA Player Awards
Garbiñe Muguruza has won the WTA Player of the Year while Martina Hingis and Chan Yung-Jan earned Doubles Team of the Year, with Jelena Ostapenko, Catherine Bellis, Sloane Stephens and Angelique Kerber also honored.
At the Gala Evening held at the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore and presented by SC Global, Garbiñe Muguruzan won the Player of the Year, while the Doubles Team of the Year went to Martina Hingis and Chan Yung-Jan.
Germany’s Angelique Kerber went home with the Jerry Diamond ACES award, Ameriacan’s Sloane Stephens wasn’t left out as she won The Comeback Player of the Year

The awards were presented in person to those recipients in attendance at the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global, are an exclusive woven crystal platter by Tiffany & Co.
The men will have theirs in November before the ATP Finals in England.
