Mutiu Adepoju voices support for newly appointed Super Eagles Head Coach, Finidi George

Former Nigeria international Mutiu Adepoju has rallied support for Finidi George, the recently appointed head coach of the Super Eagles, Nigeria’s national football team.

The announcement of Finidi’s appointment as head coach of the three-time African champions was made on Monday, April 29, 2024, signaling a new chapter in Nigerian football.

Aged 53, Finidi George brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as one of the assistants to former head coach Jose Peseiro.

Taking to social media platform X, Adepoju extended his congratulations to the former winger on his elevation to head coach, while also urging fans and supporters to unite behind him.

“Congratulations to my brother, Finidi George for getting the final nod as @NGSuperEagles Head Coach. Let’s join hands and wish him the best of success,” Adepoju wrote.
