My focus is now on the next game – Musa Abdullahi
says his winner against Plateau United is in the past
Kano Pillars defender, Musa Abdullahi says he is putting the last game where he scored the winner behind him and now focused on the Match day 18 game against Lobi Stars.
The defender scored the winning goal for Kano Pillars in a comeback win against Plateau United on Sunday.
Albert Hiliary put Plateau United ahead in the 45th minute and left the home team in shock at the break. Haruna Abdullahi restored parity in the 75th minute before Musa Abdullahi finished it off with a winner in the 86th minute.
In an interview with Sportsration, Musa Abdullahi said his focus is now on Lobi Stars and not the goal he scored in the last game.
“I scored the winning goal in the last game and that is all in the past. My focus is now on Lobi Stars, who are joint top with Remo Stars.
“The game against Lobi Stars is going to be a tough one but we are ready for that game in Lafia. We are doing everything possible to break into that top three spot.” Abdullahi told Sportsration.
