Remo Stars FC and Katsina United FC shared the spoils following a 1-1 draw in their group A clash at the ongoing Naija Super 8 tournament.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Remo Stars FC were up against Katsina United FC in the afternoon fixture on Sunday July 9 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos.
It was the second game of the tournament for the Sky Blues who defeated Enyimba FC in the opening game on Friday, while it was a debut for Katsina United FC.
In the match, both teams had a chance apiece before the opening goal arrived in the 21st minute.

Samson Olasupo finished off a rebound to level scores at 1-1 after his initial attempt came off the bar.
Katsina United FC were denied a first half lead by Remo Stars goalkeeper Charles Tambe who saved from a free kick before sensationally stopping Samson Olasupo’s effort from the rebound.
The second half failed to produce as much excitement as the first with both teams sharing periods of dominance while the clock ticked towards the 90′.
At the expiration of regulation time, it finished Remo Stars FC 1-1 Katsina United FC.
As it stands, Remo Stars FC lead group A with four points, while Katsina United FC sit second with a single point from their only game of the Naija Super 8 tournament.
In the other group A fixture, Enyimba FC will take on Premier League new-boys Sporting Lagos FC by 4:30pm at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos State.
The Naija Super 8 is a off-season tournament competed for by representatives of the six geo-political zones in Nigeria and two wild cards.
