Napoli Boss’s Son Gets Death Threats Over Osimhen Transfer as Galatasaray Struggles to Pay
Reports say the son of Napoli’s president has received death threats related to Victor Osimhen’s possible transfer from the club.
Victor Osimhen’s move away from Napoli is taking a long time, and the situation is now getting dangerous.
Edoardo De Laurentiis, the vice president of Napoli and son of club president Aurelio De Laurentiis, has allegedly been threatened by someone who claims to be a Galatasaray fan.
The threat came through WhatsApp, with the person warning Edoardo to let Osimhen join the Turkish club—or face serious harm. The message even claimed a connection to the Turkish Mafia.
Turkish journalist Samet Çayır shared screenshots of the messages, which have caused a lot of concern among football fans. The identity of the person who sent the threat is still being looked into.

Osimhen played for Galatasaray on loan last season and performed well. Galatasaray now wants him back, but the deal is stuck because of money.
Napoli’s Demands
Napoli is asking for a total of €75 million. They want €40 million paid this summer and €35 million paid next year in one payment. Napoli also wants a sell-on clause, meaning they would get part of the money if Galatasaray sells Osimhen in the future.
Galatasaray’s Offer
Galatasaray doesn’t agree with these terms. They want to pay the fee by 2027 and don’t want to include a sell-on clause. Because of this disagreement, Osimhen’s transfer is still on hold.
Now, with the threats and tensions rising, the transfer is even more complicated.
