Nasarawa United Make Huge Fans Announcement Ahead of Akwa United Clash

Nasarawa United FC have received the green light to welcome their fans back to the Lafia Township Stadium, starting with Sunday’s big clash against Akwa United.

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Board gave the club provisional approval for supporters to return, months after a ban was placed due to fan misconduct earlier in the season.

The exciting news was shared in a statement by the club’s Director of Media, Eche Amos, who confirmed that the NPFL’s letter of approval came from the league’s Chief Operating Officer, Davidson Owumi.

According to Amos, the approval will be monitored closely, with security arrangements under review for the rest of the season.

“This is a moment we’ve been looking forward to. We are pleased to invite our loyal supporters to return and cheer the team to victory in an orderly manner,” Amos said.

He thanked fans for their patience and urged them to follow all security and safety guidelines during matches.

The club also confirmed it will be working closely with the Nasarawa State Football Association to ensure proper security at the stadium.

The directive takes effect from match-day 32, giving the Solid Miners a timely boost as they prepare to face Akwa United in a crucial NPFL fixture.
