Nasiru: No player wil say no to the most successful club in Nigeria
Nasiru Dani has revealed decision to shun Kano Pillars who he thought would be his next destination till Enyimba came into the fray.
The former Kastina United captain arrived Aba yesterday evening ahead of a medical with Enyimba scheduled for today after which he will sign for the seven-time Nigeria champions.
“I thought I was going to join Pillars because they have been pushing for my signature since the end of last season, but the deal could not go through,” Nasiru said.
The leftback or central defender said his transfer to Enyimba will enhance his profile.
“I have actually paid my dues to Katsina United and this is the right time for me to take a bold step so as to improve my career,” he said.
“No player in Nigeria will say no to Enyimba because they are the most successful football club in the country.
“I have made the right decision to join one of the football powerhouses in Nigeria.”
As captain he helped Katsina United escape relegation last season.
