NBA Conference Semifinals: Lakers, Heat through to Conference Finals
Los Angeles Lakers secured a record-extending 24th Western Conference Final appearance after a 122-101 win over the Golden State Warriors at the Crypto.com Arena. The Lakers won the series 4-2, securing an improbable appearance in the Conference Final. LeBron James led the scoring for the Lakers with 30 points, nine rebounds and nine assists, and Austin Reaves scored 23 points. Anthony Davis scored 17 points and 20 rebounds for the Lakers. Steph Curry scored 32 points, and Donte DiVincenzo scored 16 points for the Warriors.
Miami Heat secured a 96-92 win over the New York Knicks to secure a 4-2 series win and book their place in the Eastern Conference Final. Jimmy Butler led the scoring for the Heat with 24 points and Bam Adebayo scored 23 points in the game. Jalen Brunson scored 41 points for the Knicks and Julius Randle contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds in the game.
