NBA Playoffs: Pistons force Game 7 as Spurs eliminate Timberwolves
Detroit Pistons kept their playoff run alive with an impressive 115-94 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 6, to force the series to a decisive Game 7.
The Pistons started the game well and kept that control for most of the night. Cleveland struggled to respond, but Detroit held the lead and eventually won.
Cade Cunningham finished with 21 points and 8 assists, continuing his impressive postseason run, while James Harden scored 23 points for Cleveland in defeat.
The Cavaliers now head into Game 7 under serious pressure after missing a chance to close out the series.
In the Western Conference, the San Antonio Spurs are officially through to the Western Conference Finals after destroying the Minnesota Timberwolves 139-109. Stephon Castle stole the show with 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists.
The Spurs controlled most of the game and were too much for Minnesota to handle, even with Anthony Edwards scoring 24 points.
The Spurs now move on to the Western Conference Finals.
