Needing a huge performance at home after two losses on the road, Golden State Warriors had Steph Curry to thank as he led them to a 114-97 win over the Sacramento Kings. The win took their NBA Playoff Round 1 series to 2-1, with the Kings still holding the advantage. Curry led the scoring for the reigning champions with 36 points and Andrew Wiggins contributed 20 points in the game. De’Aaron Fox scored 26 points for the Kings.
Philadelphia 76ers put one foot in the second round of the playoffs with a 102-97 win over the Brooklyn Nets. Tyrese Maxey scored 25 points and James Harden finished with 21 for the Sixers. For the Nets, Mikal Bridges led all scorers in the game with 26 points. The Sixers hold a 3-0 lead in the series and need one more win to reach the next round and eliminate the Nets.
Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Clippers with a competent performance to take a 2-1 lead in their NBA Playoff Round 1 series. Having lost the first game of the series, the Suns have recovered to go in front with back-to-back wins. Devin Booker led all scorers with 45 points and Kevin Durant contributed 28 points in the game. Norman Powell scored 42 points for the Clippers in the game.
