The two-time MVP recorded a triple-double of 20 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists for the Nuggets, and Michael Porter Jr contributed 25 points in the game. Anthony Edwards scored 36 points for the Timberwolves in the game, but they now have a mountain to climb.
Cleveland Cavaliers became the first team in the NBA this season to go under 80 points in a game as they lost 99-79 in their Game 3 clash with the New York Knicks. Jalen Brunson scored 21 points for the Knicks, with RJ Barrett scoring 19 points, as well. Donovan Mitchell scored 22 points for the Cavs in the game, and they trail the series 2-1.
Atlanta Hawks secured a vital win over the Boston Celtics in Game 3, taking a 130-122 win in front of their home fans. Trae Young led the scoring for his side with 32 points and Dejounte Murray contributed 25 points. Jayson Tatum scored 29 points and ten rebounds for the Celtics, who lead the series 2-1.
