NBA Playoffs Round up: Cavs, Spurs beat Pacers & Grizzlies to lead series 2-0
The Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs took 2-0 series leads in the NBA playoffs on Monday.
The Cavs are in complete control of their Eastern Conference first-round series against the Indiana Pacers after a 117-111 win.
The Spurs went 2-0 up in the Western Conference, easing to a 96-82 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies.
CAVS’ BIG THREE DELIVER
Irving top scored with 37 points for the Cavs as the big three stepped up.
James (25 points and 10 rebounds) and Love (27 and 11) each had double-doubles in the win.
Paul George was impressive for the Pacers with 32 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
SPURS TOO GOOD
The Spurs made a strong start and never looked back against the Grizzlies.
Kawhi Leonard led the way with 37 points and 11 rebounds as the Spurs, who outscored Memphis 56-37 in the first half, cruised to their win.
Tony Parker (15 points) and Danny Green (12) provided enough support for the brilliant Leonard.
