NBA Playoffs Round Up: Isaiah Thomas career high leads Celtics to 2-0 lead, Warriors take game 1

The Golden State Warriors were comfortable winners in the NBA playoffs as Isaiah Thomas inspired the Boston Celtics with a tremendous performance.

The Warriors grabbed game one of their Western Conference semi-final series against the Utah Jazz with a 106-94 win.

Stephen Curry led the way with 22 points, seven rebounds and five assists in what was otherwise an even team performance.

Kevin Durant (17 points), Draymond Green (17) and Klay Thompson (15) were also good contributors.

Rudy Gobert had 13 points and eight rebounds for the Jazz, who were outscored in every quarter except the third.

Thomas helped the Celtics to a 129-119 overtime win against the Washington Wizards to give them a 2-0 series lead.

The point guard scored a career-high 53 points in an incredible display as the Celtics took control of the Eastern Conference semi-final series.

Of the 53 points, 29 came in the fourth quarter and overtime.

John Wall had a double-double of 40 points and 13 assists for the Wizards, who host game three on Thursday.
