NBA Recap: Depleted Nets defeat Pacers as Warriors down Celtics
Bulls, Cavaliers, Nuggets all secure wins
Despite being without most of their starters, the Brooklyn Nets ran out 136-133 winners against the Indiana Pacers in their NBA clash. They improve to 16-12 in the Eastern Conference this season. Cam Thomas led the scoring for the Nets with 33 points and Patty Mills scored 24 points. Tyrese Haliburton scored 35 points for the Pacers.
Golden State Warriors claimed a 123-107 win over the Boston Celtics in a repeat of the NBA Finals. The champions claimed their 14th win of the season thanks to Klay Thompson’s 34 points and Steph Curry’s 32 points. Jaylen Brown scored 31 points for the Celtics in the game.
Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Washington Wizards 114-107 in their NBA clash. Paul George led the scoring for the Clippers with 36 points and Marcus Morris Sr scored 19 points in the game. Kyle Kuzma scored 35 points and 12 rebounds for the Wizards in the game.
Cleveland Cavaliers claimed a 110-102 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in their NBA meeting. Evan Mobley scored 21 points and 12 rebounds for the Cavaliers, and Jarrett Allen scored 21 points and 11 rebounds. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 23 points for the Thunder.
Chicago Bulls defeated the Dallas Mavericks 144-115 in their NBA encounter. DeMar DeRozan led the scoring with 28 points and Nikola Vucevic scored 20 points in the game. Spencer Dinwiddie scored 27 points for the Mavericks in the game.
Denver Nuggets claimed a 115-110 win over the Utah Jazz in their NBA clash. Nikola Jokic led the way with a triple double of 31 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists, and Jamal Murray scored 30 points. Neil Alexander-Walker scored 27 points for the Jazz.
Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 124-118 in the NBA. Damian Lillard led the scoring with 36 points and Anfernee Simons scored 31 points for the Trail Blazers in the game. Anthony Edwards scored 26 points for the Timberwolves in the game.
