NBA Recap: Pacers defeat Bucks as Knicks stop Timberwolves
Suns, Nuggets, Raptors, Jazz all win games
Indiana Pacers picked up a 122-113 win over the Milwaukee Bucks to improve their record in the NBA this season to 18-14. Tyrese Haliburton scored 26 points and 11 assists for the Pacers, and Bennedict Mathurin recorded 25 points and 13 rebounds in the win. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 30 points, 18 rebounds and 11 assists for the Bucks to finish with a triple-double.
New York Knicks claimed a 112-106 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves to pick up their 18th win of the season. Julius Randle led the scoring for the Knicks with 39 points, while OG Anunoby added 17 points. Anthony Edwards scored 35 points for the Timberwolves.
Phoenix Suns defeated the Portland Trail Blazers 109-88 to improve their record this season in the NBA to 18-15. Bradley Beal led the scoring with 21 points and Jusuf Nurkic added 18 points for the Suns. Scoot Henderson scored 17 points for the Trail Blazers.
Denver Nuggets improved their record to 24-11 following a 111-93 win over the Charlotte Hornets. Jamal Murray led the scoring with 25 points and Michael Porter Jr scored 22 points for the reigning champions. Miles Bridges scored 26 points for the Hornets in the clash.
Toronto Raptors bounced back from a defeat last time out to claim a 124-121 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers in their NBA meeting. Pascal Siakam scored 36 points for the Raptors, and Scottie Barnes added 20 points in the game. Caris LeVert scored 31 points for the Cavaliers.
Houston Rockets picked up a 136-113 win over the Detroit Pistons to hand them a 30th defeat of the season. Alperen Sengun led the scoring for the Rockets with 26 points, and Jalen Green added 22 points in the game. Alec Burks scored 21 points for the Pistons in their loss.
Utah Jazz secured a 127-90 win over the Dallas Mavericks in their NBA encounter. Simone Fontecchio led the scoring with 24 points while Jordan Clarkson added a triple-double of 20 points, ten rebounds and 11 assists. Luka Doncic scored 19 goals and 14 assists for the Mavericks.
Los Angeles Clippers picked up a 121-104 win over the Miami Heat to improve to 20-12 in the NBA. Kawhi Leonard scored 24 points and Paul George scored 23 points for the Clippers. Bam Adebayo scored 21 points and 15 rebounds for the Heat.
