NBA Recap: Warriors overcome Nets in clash of titans

Mavericks, Grizzlies, Raptors all win

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Brooklyn Nets in a blockbuster clash between two of the best teams in the NBA at the Chase Center on Saturday.

Both sides were missing key players for the game, with James Harden and Kevin Durant missing for the Brooklyn Nets, and Drayton Green unavailable for the Warriors.

Despite the best efforts of the Nets, the Warriors ran out 110-106 winners at the end of the game. Latest All-Star Andrew Wiggins led the scoring for the Warriors with 24 points in the game. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson finished with 19 and 16 points, respectively.

For the Brooklyn Nets, Kyrie Irving led the scoring with 32 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, while Patty Mills contributed 24 points.

The Memphis Grizzlies picked up a 115-95 win over the Washington Wizards with Ja Morant taking center stage again. The 22-year-old led the scoring with 34 points in the game. Desmond Bane also contributed 19 points for the Grizzlies. Kyle Kuzma scored 30 points for the Wizards.

Toronto Raptors defeated the Miami Heat 124-120 in their NBA clash on Saturday. Gary Trent Jr led the scoring for the Raptors with 33 points in the game. Jimmy Butler recorded a triple-double for the Heat and Gabe Vincent scored 17 points.

The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Sacramento Kings 103-101 in their NBA clash on Saturday. Joel Embiid led the scoring with 36 points and 12 rebounds for the Sixers, and Tyrese Haliburton contributed 38 points for the Kings.

The Boston Celtics defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 107-97, with Jayson Tatum contributing 38 points and Jaylen Brown contributing 31 points for the Celtics.

The Dallas Mavericks picked up a 132-105 win over the Indiana Pacers in their NBA encounter. Luka Doncic led the scoring and finished with a double-double of 30 points and 12 assists for the Mavericks.
