NBA Results: Exciting Games on October 28–29, 2025

Basketball fans enjoyed two nights of exciting NBA action on Tuesday and Wednesday. Several teams showed strong performances, with some games going into overtime.

Tuesday, October 28

Philadelphia 76ers 139 – 134 Washington Wizards (OT)
The 76ers won a close game in overtime against the Wizards. Tyrese Maxey led Philadelphia with 39 points and 10 assists, helping his team stay unbeaten this season. For Washington, Alex Sarr was impressive, scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds, but his team could not hold the lead in the extra period.

Miami Heat 144 – 117 Charlotte Hornets
The Heat dominated the Hornets with a big win at home. Jaime Jaquez Jr. was the top scorer for Miami with 28 points, while LaMelo Ball played well for Charlotte, nearly getting a triple-double with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists.

Wednesday, October 29

Milwaukee Bucks 121 – 111 New York Knicks
The Bucks defeated the Knicks thanks to another strong game from Giannis Antetokounmpo, who scored 37 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists. Jalen Brunson tried to keep New York in the game with 36 points, but Milwaukee pulled away in the second half.

Oklahoma City Thunder 107 – 101 Sacramento Kings
The Thunder continued their great start to the season, now at 5–0, with a home win over the Kings. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shined again, scoring 31 points and adding 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. For Sacramento, Zach LaVine led the team with 23 points.

Golden State Warriors 98 – 79 LA Clippers
The Warriors played strong defence and kept the Clippers to under 80 points. Jonathan Butler III led Golden State with 21 points, while Ivica Zubac had 14 points and 13 rebounds for the Clippers, who struggled to score in the second half.

More NBA games continue this week as teams fight to start the season strong. The Thunder and 76ers remain unbeaten, showing they could be early favourites in their conferences.
