NBA Round Up: Durant leads Warriors past Thunder in Oklahoma City return
Kevin Durant returned to Oklahoma City to lead the Golden State Warriors past the Thunder in the NBA, while LeBron James guided the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Durant returned to the Chesapeake Energy Arena for the first time since leaving the Thunder, and he helped the Warriors to a 130-114 win on Saturday.
The Cavs were also comfortable winners, easing past the Denver Nuggets 125-109.
Meanwhile, Isaiah Thomas led the Boston Celtics to another win.
DELIGHTFUL DURANT
Durant handled his return well with 34 points, nine rebounds and three assists for the Warriors.
Russell Westbrook starred with 47 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, but he also had 11 turnovers.
The Warriors also got 26-point hauls from Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
CRUISING CAVS
The Cavs were in control against the Nuggets.
James had a double-double of 27 points and 12 assists, while Kyrie Irving also finished with 27 points.
The Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic also posted a double-double with 27 points and 13 rebounds.
CELTICS WIN
Thomas (29 points) was once more the main man for the Celtics, who beat the Utah Jazz 112-104.
Gordon Hayward top-scored for the Jazz with 31 points.

CLIPPERS, 76ERS RECORD VICTORIES
The Los Angeles Clippers edged past the Charlotte Hornets 107-102 and the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Miami Heat 117-109.
The Milwaukee Bucks were too good for the Indiana Pacers 116-100, the Dallas Mavericks thrashed the Orlando Magic 112-80 and the Houston Rockets brushed past the Phoenix Suns 133-102.
SPURS AT KNICKS
The New York Knicks (22-33) are heavy underdogs as they prepare for the visit of the San Antonio Spurs (41-12) to Madison Square Garden.
