NBA Round Up: Karl-Anthony Towns double-double ends Blazers’ winning streak

Karl-Anthony Towns led the way with a double-double as the Minnesota Timberwolves snapped the Portland Trail Blazers’ winning streak.

Towns posted 34 points and 12 rebounds in Minnesota’s 110-109 victory to end Portland’s run at six games in NBA action on Monday.

Towns was supported by Andrew Wiggins and Ricky Rubio at home to the Trail Blazers.

Wiggins put up 29 points, while Rubio had 11 points and 16 assists for the hosts.

The Trail Blazers got 25 points from Damian Lillard, who struggled from the floor having shot just seven-of-21 and three of 11 three-pointers.

Lillard also saw his potential game-winning jumper glance off the rim at the buzzer.
