NBA Round Up: Westbrook leads Thunder, Celtics win seventh straight
Another dominant Russell Westbrook performance helped the Oklahoma City Thunder to an NBA win, while the Boston Celtics made it seven straight victories.
Westbrook posted 42 points, eight assists and four rebounds as the Thunder recorded a 105-99 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.
Victor Oladipo (24 points and 13 rebounds) and Andre Roberson (14 and 11) each had double-doubles.
Damian Lillard led Portland with a team-high 29 points.
The Celtics continued their good form with a 107-102 win against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Again, it was Isaiah Thomas who starred with his 28 points and eight assists, while Al Horford had a double-double of 13 points and 15 rebounds.
The game was Celtics great Paul Pierce’s last in Boston and his late three for the Clippers was enjoyed by the TD Garden crowd.

In the day’s other game, the Brooklyn Nets’ woes continued as they slumped to a ninth straight defeat, beaten 103-95 by the Toronto Raptors.
