Ndidi Faces Injury Setback as Besiktas Midfielder Ruled Out for Two Weeks

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi will be out of action for about two weeks after picking up a hamstring injury.
Ndidi has been an important player for Beşiktaş since joining the club from Leicester City last summer for €8 million. He has played 22 league matches this season and scored two goals.
The Nigerian has also impressed with his performances in midfield, although the team has struggled to climb the table.
Last weekend, Ndidi featured for 86 minutes in a 1-0 defeat to Fenerbahçe. He received a yellow card in the match after a late tackle, which means he will serve a one-match suspension.
He was already set to miss the next league game against Antalyaspor, but the injury has now made the situation worse.
Reports say Ndidi will be sidelined for two weeks, meaning he will definitely miss the Antalyaspor game on Friday. He is also a doubt for the match against Samsunspor on 19 April.
The injury comes at a difficult time for Beşiktaş as they push for a place in European competition next season. With only six matches left, they are 11 points behind Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe, while Göztepe are close behind them in the table.
Beşiktaş will now hope they can keep their position without one of their key players.
