Ndidi Is Leicester City’s Young Player Of The Season

Super Eagles defensive midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has been crowned as Leicester City’s Young Player of the season for the second year running.
The end of the season awards ceremony which was held on Tuesday night, saw the 21 year old Lagos born footballer beat two England U-21 international players, Ben Chilwell and Demarai Gray to the award.
This season, the number 25 helped Leicester City who are currently ninth on the English Premier League log, qualify for the last eight of the Emirates FA Cup and League Cup.
Ndidi joined Leicester City in January 2017 and has had a strong start to his career in England despite his young age, playing 61 matches in all competitions, including 50 in the Premier League, and directly involved in nine goals.
The former Genk F.C of Belgium youngster was also nominated for the club 2017/2018 player of the season but lost out to defender Harry Maguire.
