Ndifreke Effiong happy following winning start at new club
Ex- Olympic Eagles star Ndifreke Effiong has expressed his delight after making a winning start to life at new club Al Quwa Al-Jawiya on Friday.
The Nigerian forward joined Iraqi Premier league title chasing Al Quwa Al-Jawiya last week and made his debut in the 1-2 away win over Al Karkh on February 10, 2023.
Ndifreke Effiong was named in the starting XI by manager Hakeem Shakir for his debut at the Al Saher Ahmed Radhi Stadium in Baghdad.
Title chasing Al Quwa Al-Jawiya battled to a 1-2 win over Al Kakrh. With score tied at 1-1 the Air force team bagged and scored from a penalty deep into stoppage time to secure maximum points.
After the win which consolidates Al Quwa Al-Jawiya’s title charge, Ndifreke Effiong took to his Facebook account to share his excitement over the win.
