Neymar’s father to earn £58m from son’s move from Barcelona to PSG
Neymar’s father, Neymar Snr., is expected to pick up about £58million from his son’s world-record move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Marca reports that Neymar’s father, who also acts as his agent, will get £35m from PSG and a £23m loyalty bonus from Barcelona.
The Brazil international is believed to be close to leaving the Camp Nou, as PSG are expected to meet the full cost of Neymar’s €222million release clause, to force Barca into a sale.
He will reportedly earn €30million per year as the Ligue 1 side’s new marquee name and become the highest-paid footballer in Europe.
The player said his goodbyes to his Barcelona team-mates on Wednesday.
France Football’s Florent Torchut claims that Neymar was at Barca’s training ground for 37 minutes, before leaving in a private car.
The Brazilian did not take part in any drills or activities with the rest of the squad.
