NFF confirms Randy Waldrum as Super Falcons Head Coach
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed former Houston Dash manager Randy Waldrum as the new Super Falcons head coach.
The Executive Committee of the board on Wednesday, approved the recommendation of the Technical and Development Committee of the NFF for the appointment of Waldrum.
A release by the NFF on Thursday says: ”The Board approved the recommendation of the Technical and Development Committee for the appointment of Mr. Randy Waldrum as Technical Adviser of the Super Falcons, and directed the Secretariat to immediately conclude negotiations with Mr. Waldrum,”
The NFF failed to renew Florence Omagbemi’s contract as coach of the eight-time African champions, despite winning the 2016 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Waldrum, 61, parted ways with Houston Dash in May 2017 after a spell of three years as manager of the Nation Women’s League Soccer (NWLS) side.
