Nicole Payne completes PSG move

Super Falcons star Nicole Payne has completed a move to French club Paris Saint-Germain Feminine after completing her stint in the US Collegiate system.

Nicole Oyeyemisi Payne, 22, has joined the French giants after completing her collegiate career with NCAA club West Virginia Mountaineers of South Carolina University. She signs until 2026 and is seen as a replacement for Canadian star Ashley Lawrence, who has joined Chelsea Women this summer.

She is the sister of Sevilla and Super Falcons star Toni Oyedupe Payne, who is at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup with the Nigerian contingent. Nicole plays as a right-back and was at the 2022 African Women’s Cup of Nations with the Super Falcons.
