Niger Tornadoes Vs Akwa United: Wisdom Ndon makes tenth start of the season
Young defender, Wisdom Ndon has been named in the Akwa United FC starting XI for the NPFL week ten clash vs Niger Tornadoes.
The youngster has started all ten games this season for Coach Fatai Osho tutored Akwa United FC in the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Niger Tornadoes FC are hosts of the Promise Keepers who defeated Remo Stars Sports Club 3-2 in week nine at the Eket Stadium for their second win of the season.
Coach Fatai Osho has kept faith with the Akwa United FC starting XI from the win over Remo Stars.
Goalkeeper Nurudeen Badmus starts in goal with Wisdom Ndon and Tony Anioke as lieutenants in central defence.
Left-back David Philip will also start for the tenth time while Samuel Ganda completes the backline.
After heading the Promise Keepers level vs Remo Stars last week, Dare Ojo will marshal the midfield with Seyi Oguntayo and Salomon Chigozie expected to supply passes to the three men upfront.
Akintunde Bala was exceptional last weekend and starts on the right. Uche Collins scored a stunning goal in the week nine game and so will look forward to more vs Tornadoes while operating on the left side of Nigerian International, Edidiong Ezekiel who leads the attack.
The match will kickoff by 4pm in Kaduna.
