Nigeria Football Federation seeks new Coach for Supersand Eagles

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have announced that it is accepting applications for the position of Coach for the Beach Soccer National Team, known as the Supersand Eagles.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates interested in applying for the role must meet the following criteria:

• Beach Soccer Refresher Course: Applicants must have attended at least one beach soccer refresher course organized by the NFF.
• Knowledge of the Game: Candidates should be well-versed in the rules and dynamics of beach soccer, which are subject to frequent changes.
• Coaching License: Possession of at least a CAF C Coaching License is mandatory.
• Recent Involvement: Applicants must have been actively involved in beach soccer activities over the past three years.
• Playing Experience: Experience in playing beach soccer, both locally and internationally, is considered an added advantage.

Application Process

• Deadline: Applications must be submitted by midnight on Friday, 12th July 2024.
• Submission: Interested individuals can apply through the Federation’s website.
• Selection Timeline: The NFF aims to name a successful candidate shortly after the application deadline to prepare for the upcoming Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against Mauritania.

The NFF is keen to appoint a coach who can lead the Supersand Eagles effectively, especially with the important qualifying matches on the horizon. The selected coach will be responsible for preparing the team and ensuring they are competitive at the continental level.
