Nigeria Nationwide League One season kickoff dates confirmed
The board of the Nigeria Nationwide League One has confirmed dates for kickoff of the 2023/2024 season. SportsRation reports.
According to a communique from the League board, the season will kick-off on Saturday, April 13, 2024 with a flagship game in Kaduna Center while the other games will continue on April 20, across designated centers in the country.
The Nigeria Nationwide League One is the third tier of Nigerian football leagues and serves as route for promotion to the Nigeria National League.
In another important update, the Board of the Nigeria Nationwide League One has instructed the Secretariat to fully implement the relevant article regarding participation in the New Year Mega Lottery Nationwide League One season.
In light of this, the nation’s third-tier Secretariat would like to inform all clubs that any club that fails to meet the following criteria of the league will no longer be a part of NLO from the 2024 New Year Mega Lottery Nationwide League One season
2.01(3). All clubs must be affiliated with a state and pay an annual registration fee as determined by the Board of the NLO. Any club that fails to pay this fee will be considered to have withdrawn its participation in the league.
