Nigeria reach ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup super six round

Nigeria’s junior women’s cricket team has secured a spot in the Super Six stage of the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Malaysia, despite a 41-run loss to South Africa in their final Group C match on Wednesday.

After an impressive victory over New Zealand, Nigeria faced a tough challenge against a dominant South African side. Although they were defeated, Nigeria still managed to advance to the next round, finishing second in the group with three points.

South Africa topped the group with six points, securing their third consecutive win, while New Zealand also progressed after defeating Samoa.
