Nigeria Rugby Team Ready for 2024 Africa Cup
The Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) has announced the final 28-man squad for the 2024 Africa Cup, set to take place in Tunisia from December 16th to 23rd.
The Nigerian team, known as the Stallions, will compete in Pool A, facing Tunisia, Ghana, and Zambia. The top team from this pool will advance to the final to face the winner of Pool B, which includes Morocco.
The winner of the tournament will secure a spot in the 2025 Rugby Africa Cup, making this a crucial competition for the Stallions.
The NRFF has selected a team blending experienced players with rising stars. The squad includes athletes from clubs in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, South Africa, and the United States, showcasing Nigeria’s growing talent in rugby.
