Nigeria Super Eagles end 2024 in 44th place in FIFA rankings

Nigeria’s Super Eagles finished 2024 in 44th place in the latest FIFA rankings, which were released on Thursday by the World Football Governing body. The team saw a major drop in the November rankings after a home defeat to Rwanda in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Super Eagles earned 1482.23 points, keeping them in 44th place globally and 5th in Africa.

Morocco remain Africa’s highest-ranked team, sitting in 14th place globally, followed by Senegal in 17th, who are second in Africa.
