Nigeria to know World Cup 2022 Play-offs opponent today
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) will today conduct the final qualifying round for 2022 FIFA World Cup to be staged in Qatar this year.
Nigeria like all other nine teams will find out who they will be playing for a place in the biggest football show piece as African representatives.
Five nations will represent Africa, for this reason, two teams will be paired against each other and the aggregate winners over two legs go through.
Five most ranked teams Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Nigeria will be seeded while the other teams Cameroon, Ghana, Mali, Congo and Egypt will be matched against the seeded teams.
The draw will take place today in Cameroon, 4 pm Nigerian time and the two legged games will be played between
24–29th March 2022.
