Nigeria U-20 forward Salim Fago unveiled by Croatian Club
Nigeria U-20 forward, Salim Fago Lawal has been unveiled by Croatian side NK Istra 1961, SportsRation reports.
Fago’s transfer to the Croatian Club was due since June when an agreement was reached with his Nigerian club Mavlon FC but the official announcement was delayed .
The delay was pending when the Flying Eagles striker will get entry visa to Croatia where he will begin his professional football journey.
A member of the Ladan Bosso tutored Flying Eagles squad to Argentina for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, Salim Fago has penned a three year contract with Istra 1961.
The 20-year old striker featured in all of the Flying Eagles five games at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina.
His new Croatian Club Istra 1961 are based in Pula and finished fifth in the Croatian top league last season.
