Nigeria Vs South Africa: Zaidu Sanusi misses Super Eagles final training session

According to Soccernet.ng, Sanusi’s absence from the training session has fueled speculation that the Porto FC defender may miss the upcoming semi-final clash against South Africa.
While the exact reason for Sanusi’s absence remains unclear, there is speculation whether it is due to injury or precautionary measures.
Despite having sat out of training sessions before previous games and still playing full minutes, uncertainties persist regarding his availability for semi-final match vs South Africa.
In the event of Sanusi’s potential absence, alternative options are being considered to fill his position. Bruno Onyemaechi is speculated to step in at the left wing, while Fulham defender Calvin Bassey could also fit into that position.
Despite the uncertainties surrounding Sanusi’s status, Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has expressed confidence in the team’s depth and versatility.
At the press conference. Peseiro highlighted the ability of players like Ola Aina, Onyemaechi, and Bassey, who are capable of stepping up to fill Sanusi’s role if necessary.
