Nigerian footballer Olanrewaju Kayode reportedly considers suicide due to marital troubles
Nigerian footballer Olanrewaju Kayode has reportedly considered suicide due to marital troubles, which have affected his career.
The recent turmoil surrounding Super Eagles star Olanrewaju Kayode and his wife includes allegations of fraud, adultery, and even threats to his life.
According to reports, Kayode’s troubles began when he discovered that his wife, Dora, was allegedly involved in fraudulent activities and had an extramarital affair with Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, purportedly introduced to her through a mutual acquaintance of socialite Daddy Freeze.
Kayode claims that his wife used his assets, including two Mercedes SUVs, to fund Pastor Adegboyega’s lavish lifestyle.
Furthermore, Dora allegedly conspired with broker Ugochukwu Igboanugo and accomplices Jennifer Max Nduaguibe and Lynda Dike Anulika to seize Kayode’s property rights.
Adding to the distress, the whereabouts of Dora Kayode’s three children are unknown following a tragic incident on March 24, 2024. Despite Kayode’s complaints to the Nigerian Police FCID Alagbon, led by AIG Idowu Omohunwa, efforts to recover the stolen assets and locate the children have been unsuccessful.
Feeling desperate and fearing for his safety due to threats from unknown individuals, Kayode reportedly attempted suicide twice and terminated his football contract.
While security authorities are yet to respond to Kayode’s allegations, the situation remains dire.
