Nigerian Referee Joseph Ogabor to officiate Tunisia vs Comoros AFCON qualifier
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Nigerian referee Joseph Ogabor to officiate the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying match between Tunisia and Comoros. The match is part of the third round of the qualifiers and will take place on Friday at the Stade Olympique in Tunis.
Ogabor, a seasoned referee with a FIFA badge, is also a lecturer at the University of Calabar. He will be assisted by fellow Nigerians Samuel Pwadutakam as the first assistant referee and Abdulmajeed Usman Olaide as the second assistant referee.
Basheer Salisu, another Nigerian official, will serve as the fourth official, while Fatou Gaye from Senegal will act as the referee assessor for the match.
The officiating team will be responsible for ensuring a fair and smooth encounter as Tunisia and Comoros battle it out for a place in the 2025 AFCON tournament.
